May 7th Show Feature Winner Robby Metts and more

     Well race fans Needmore was all by itself as far as racing goes this past weekend, and we had a show, and on tonight's show John and I are gonna be working the telephones, nobody in the house but us, first on the hook is gonna be Robby Metts first time winner at Needmore in the late model series , he took the lead after the first caution and never looked back, also the kid that went for the pass more than once on Robby but just couldn't get it Michael Ross, this young fellow is having an awesome season so far, and the big win is just around the corner, then in the super street series at needmore we are privileged to have Mr Gary Shaw calling in, Gary is a gentleman both on and off the track and took the lead from Bobby Piper at about lap 7 or so, and took the checkers soon after, also Bobby Piper, main man with the Southern Outlaw series and second place finisher is gonna be on, Bobby lost a couple of spots with a loose race car but battled his way back to a well earned second place finish, welcome back to the sport Bobby, it missed ya!!  Also, we will be giving away some free tickets to Albany speedway for this weekend, but ya gotta call in to win, and we welcome you all to call in just to talk as well, so call 229 -259 -9210 and lets us hear from our awesome race fans!!! April 30th show

       We had an awesome show last night with 3 time mini stock driver, Tyler Summerlin in house and dad, Jerry. They let us know how their season has been going at Albany Motor Speedway. We also had on the line another of the Summerlin family with Hotshoe Jeffrey Summerlin who now has a bounty out on his head at Albany. It's $200 to start off with to anyone who can beat him and it goes up $100 every week that no one beats him until $500 is reached and if no one beats him he gets to collect an extra $500. Bryanna Vinent was also on the show to tell us what it's like being one of the few females in a male dominated sport and she let us know that she doesn't like being treated any different and that she wheels it just like anyone else on the track.
         Jason Fitzgerald was another of our call in drivers and he let us know how the weekend went this past weekend at Waycross Motor Speedway where he got his first win of the season in his GRT by Fitzgerald chassis. We also gave away a few tickets to Needmore Speedway for this upcoming weekend. Next week we are going to have an all new show and all new guests on to let you know what went down in our neck of the woods so tune in and check us out every Tuesday at 7pm on 92.1fm.

April 16th show

     Tonights show was another success, thanks so much for the time ya gave us Russell Brown Racing, and they had some good give aways, Russells sponser called in and gave away 50$ , twice, thanks to Auto Imports , I think I got it right, out of Moultrie for giving away one hundred bucks on the show tonight, and as always Evan Becton is one cool cat, and a wheel hand on top of that, we`ll have to see if we can top that next week, NOT GONNA BE EASY, on the STOCK CAR THUNDER SHOW!!!

April 9th Show: Michael Ross

Tonight on the Thunder show we are gonna have young hot shoe Michael Ross and his crew chief , those guys, and I`m guessing his dad, Gene Ross, put a fast car on the track for Saturday nights race, he was rolling, last year Michael trolled around mid pack, this years first race if not for a small blip in qualifying he would have been pole setting,and he finished 4th,giving Kelly Walker a fit, kids a natural, and yea he`s a kid (looks just like Sadie's boyfriend off of duck dynasty) really, he does!!!

Tuesday, April, 2nd show

Got an up and coming star on the show this Tuesday, Makayla Nicole Ivey driver of the 3d Camaro, is gonna come on the show and give us a peak into her racing world, she also won her main at Golden Isles this past weekend. Also, gonna have Richie the rocket man straight off his win of the season opener of the Outlaw Super Street Series race at Gordon Park raceway, he beat some stiff competition for a big win,and he had the double 00 rolling!! And in the house with us Kyle Bridges, driver of the # 6 late model, he held off Kit Sealy and then Kelly Walker for the win of one of the best races I've seen , I`m starting to like this spectating stuff, I ain't near as tired Sunday morn, we may pull in another winner but you`ll have to tune in to see, it`s the STOCK CAR THUNDER SHOW folks, tune in this Tuesday at 7:05 you can go to 92.1 on ya radio dial fm of course, or go to our site at www.stockcarthunder.blogspot.com and click on the listen live icon, we will give away some more tickets of course, so get ready for some trivia, we`ll wait on ya call!!!

March 19th Show: Evan Becton, Tyler Ivey and Cole Summerlin

On our Tuesday night show, we will have feature winner Evan Becton who just picked up the big $2000 paycheck from 441 Speedway and feature winner Tyler Ivey who had an impressive win at Albany Motor Speedway last night. Also, we will have Cole Summerlin who was close to a feature win at Albany Motor Speedway last night and Rhett Carter, winner of the late model feature at Waycross Motor Speedway last Saturday night. March 5th Show for Stock Car Thunder

     On our March 5th show we will be talking about the Southern Outlaw Superstreet Series created by Bobby Piper. We will have the Outlaw Champion from last year, Jimmy Sharpe Jr., to talk about his success last year and his upcoming season. Also, Tyler Brown will be on to talk about his Frankenstein Chassis and local driver Bradley Frakes will also be on to give us some insight into his season this year.
